A familiar face is rumored to star in the new season of And Just Like That

And Just Like That plans to continue on for as long as people are interested in it.

Most likely, if you enjoy HBO, you’ve heard of the popular dramedy “Sex and the City.” The series, which was filmed in New York City, followed the lives of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon), Charlotte York (Kristen Davis), and Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) as they struggled to adjust to adulthood. The show has received accolades for its frank depiction of sex and female friendships, but viewers have also been drawn to “SATC” because of its extensive roster of hot guys.

Aidan Shaw was one of the most well-liked male characters to appear (John Corbett). The furniture-loving New Yorker originally appears in Season 3 and began a sporadic relationship with Carrie before departing the program in Season 4.

Fans have hoped he will return to the revival series “And Just Like That” ever since his departure and brief appearance in “Sex and the City 2.” In a 2021 interview with Page Six, Corbett hinted that he would appear in “quite a few episodes” of Season 1. However, in a February interview with Deadline, the film’s director, Michael Patrick King, rejected Corbett’s participation. “John Corbett ought to be composing letters of apologies. We didn’t say that “King disclosed. For longstanding watchers, it appears that their hopes of seeing Carrie and Aidan together again in “And Just Like That” will finally be realized.

As Aidan Shaw, John Corbett will return.

Fans have been eager to learn fresh information about “And Just Like That” since the announcement of the second season. After a few months of absence, fan favorite Aidan Shaw (John Corbett) is reportedly planning to make a triumphant comeback in the upcoming batch of episodes, according to Deadline. It only makes sense because Mr. Big’s (Chris Noth) sad death in Season 1 left Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) a recently widowed woman. Aidan would be a part of a multi-episode story arc, according to the outlet.

HBO Max and Corbett have not commented, but the latter has already shown a desire to reprise his iconic character. The “Rebel” actor stated he would “definitely” return to the beloved “Sex and the City” universe in a 2021 interview with Glamour. He told the outlet, “I liked every bit of being involved with it.” When asked what his character would be doing, Corbett responded that Aidan would be “driving an old truck, working on furniture, and wearing some of the same clothing.” The second season of “And Just Like That” will have us counting down the hours till we see the furniture maker again!
