An ‘expert’ has predicted that there will be a cast shakeup at Fox Sports

Fox Sports is reportedly partnering Joy Taylor and Emmanuel Acho on a new national afternoon show.

Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports reports that Joy Taylor and Emmanuel Acho will be working together on a national afternoon show for the cable network.

Taylor’s replacement on “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” could be Jason McIntyre.

Taylor, who joined “Undisputed” in 2016 as a moderator, took over for Kristine Leahy as Cowherd’s co-host in 2018. Aside from hosting her own podcast and radio show on the weekends, she is also a radio host.

Once a linebacker for the NFL, Acho will now be working for Fox Sports beginning in 2020. He co-hosts the show “Speak For Yourself” with Marcellus Wiley at the moment.

Last month, Ryan Glasspiegel of the New York Post reported that the former defensive end plans to leave the afternoon show at Fox Sports. McCarthy has hypothesized that if Wiley stays at Fox he will be promoted to the position of football analyst.

The interest of the network in pairing Taylor with Acho was also mentioned in a previous report by Glasspiegel. Former running back LeSean McCoy is supposedly a “favorite” to join a football-themed show on Fox Sports, which is looking to add a third member.

It’s possible that many other shifts are possible. Craig Carton, host of “First Things First,” will host a morning show on WFAN. To fill the time slot between “The Herd” and the new Taylor/Acho show, Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, and Kevin Wildes are expected to move to a new afternoon program.
