An Upbeat Playlist That Will Bring Joy to Your Next Run

You can’t help but move to these pop remixes and dance beats.

I long ago discovered that a fast run or workout could be just the thing to lift my spirits. Sometimes getting up and moving—ideally outside—made all the difference, whether it was a bad day at work, a trying conversation, or simply an overall feeling of gloom.

Of course, having the appropriate music is another thing that truly helps. Not simply happy songs, but songs with lyrics that make you feel good and extremely catchy refrains. These are the tunes that keep me moving even when I’m uninspired or feeling uninspired. You know, the tunes that stick in your mind and make you smile all the time.

So that’s the main theme of my jogging playlist. It’s jam-packed with pop remixes and powerful dance tunes to keep you moving forward with a straight back and a high head. You’ll find remixes of popular songs by singers like HAIM, Lizzo, and Dua Lipa as well as timeless EDM tunes by The Chemical Brothers and Daft Punk. As with the other playlists I’ve recently made, I begin this one with a few mellower songs to ease you into a workout, and at the conclusion, there’s one to help you wind down. But if you don’t run or if you don’t have much time, feel free to choose any music from this list, put your work on hold for the song’s duration, and just dance around your room. You can scroll down to see the entire track list or browse the playlist below. Let’s move on! It’s time to move, dance, run, or just shake off the day.
