Brie Larson bared her injury scars for a bikini photo shoot

What’s more fun than the heat of summer? A whole lot of new bruises.

Brie Larson has put in a lot of training, and it shows in the war scars on her body. The Captain Marvel star recently took some time to decompress, posing while lounging on the floor in a swimsuit on Instagram. She proudly displayed a few bruises from all the training she’s been doing lately, which is probably why. The caption of her post said, “Summer is coming, but bruises from training are in every season.”

It’s not surprising that Larson is maintaining her fitness level given the amount of training she undertakes for movies and the regular work she puts in at the gym. She also frequently posts about her workouts on Instagram, where you can watch her dominate some of her signature exercises like weighted squats, kettlebell squats, and weighted planks.

She also relishes the sporadic challenge of a one-armed pull-up.

Dr. Philip Goglia, Larson’s nutritionist, gave some advice on how the actress fuels up to be energised for her acting roles and exercises. She first has a spoonful of nut butter and some all-fruit jam or preserves in the morning before going to the gym. Goglia told People that “new science has demonstrated that a small amount of fat and a small amount of simple sugar will really increase intensity rate while you train early in the morning.”

She enjoys eating protein smoothies and eggs after working out. She follows it with a few pieces of fruit as a snack. Goglia explained that Larson has two more “bridge meals” before evening after eating lean proteins like chicken and vegetables at lunch. She will then consume more fruit.
