Variations in Tulsa’s gas prices over the past week

AAA reports that the price of regular gas dropped to $3.93 per gallon on Thursday as oil and gas prices continued their weekly decline. Recent crude prices have averaged around $91. Over the past nine weeks, gas prices have decreased daily, and the price of crude oil has dropped by about 30 percent during that time.

If Iran agrees to restore a nuclear deal from 2015, prices could fall even further. Sanctions against Iran’s energy sector would be lifted as part of the deal, allowing for an additional one million barrels of crude oil per day to be pumped into the global market.
