In the upcoming Disney+ original series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law from Marvel Studios, two of the MCU’s most brilliant lawyers will join forces.

Charlie Cox, a veteran of Marvel’s Netflix series Luke Cage, will return to the role of Matt Murdock/Daredevil in the upcoming live-action She-Hulk series. Cox will don a red and yellow costume reminiscent of Bill Everett’s version of the character. A new TV spot for She-Hulk, however, confirms that not only will Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk (Tatiana Maslany) and Daredevil meet face to face, but the two will also work together to fight crime. The lawyers/superheroes break into what looks like an underground fitness facility in the promotional video. A large portion of Daredevil is obscured by a visual effect, but we can make out the same gloves he wore in the San Diego Comic-Con trailer.

The first time we saw Cox back in the role of Matt Murdock after Netflix cancelled Daredevil in 2018 was in Spider-Man: No Way Home. However, he hasn’t donned the Daredevil costume in almost four years, so She-Hulk will be his first. The show’s head writer, Jessica Gao, recently expressed her delight at having Cox on board, saying that the series would present a more humorous side of the Man Without Fear.

She-Hulk Carries a Devil as a Protective Angel

The wonderful Charlie, Gao gushed. “He’s so up for anything that it’s scary… We take them out of the environment that you know them from, which is much more dramatic and action-oriented, much more on the serious side, and we bring them into our world and they get to play in the tone of She-Hulk. This is why it was so much fun to bring him and Daredevil into our world; audiences have already seen a Daredevil who is very dramatic.”

The Marvel Studios Disney+ series Echo is a spinoff of Hawkeye, and after She-Hulk, Cox will presumably return to the role of Daredevil. Afterward, in the spring of 2024, as part of Phase Five of the MCU, Cox will star in his own Disney+ original series called Daredevil: Born Again. In addition to his role as Daredevil on Netflix’s Luke Cage, Cox will lend his voice to the Marvel Cinematic Universe spinoff series Spider-Man: First Year, which will air on Disney+.

As of right now, you can watch the pilot episode of Disney+’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, produced by Marvel Studios. Episodes continue to air weekly on Thursdays through October 13th.
