The Steelers shuffled their wide receiver corps on Thursday.
Christian Blake’s addition to the team’s 90-man roster was revealed. Similarly, Javon McKinley was injured and waived.
Over the course of the last three years, Blake has played in 41 games for the Falcons. As a member of Atlanta’s special teams, he hauled in 28 passes for 257 yards and had eight tackles.
The Cardinals claimed him in May, but the NFC West club cut ties with him earlier this month.
On August 1, McKinley inked a contract with the Steelers. If he is not claimed during the waiver period, the Steelers will transfer him back to the injured reserve list.
By signing Christian Blake and waiving Pro Football Talk was the first to feature Javon McKinley.
