Even though she’s excited to see her family, Sarah Michelle Gellar isn’t exactly thrilled to go back home (just kidding).

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star recently returned from a vacation, and she joked on Instagram that she was already missing the time when she was in “paradise.”

Gellar, 45, captioned photos of herself wearing masks on the plane and a throwback selfie from the vacation spot: “Now you can usually find me by the window. @delta (but not the).”

This month, the actress shared a series of photos from a sunny beach setting with her friends in an Instagram Reels post.

‘Took two weeks offline to spend family and friend time,’ she wrote as the caption. “It met my needs exactly. Take a look at this sample of my recent activities.”

Gellar shared a cute selfie with her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. last week, and the two of them looked happy and healthy. Gellar captioned the photo, “Vacay,” as the two posed happily.

The Emmy winner dropped in on the parent’s show panel at San Diego Comic-Con last month and made the announcement that she would be starring in the upcoming Teen Wolf spinoff Wolf Pack just before she took off for the airport.

She portrays Kristin Ramsey, an arson investigator on a mission to track down the teenage arsonist responsible for igniting a massive wildfire in Los Angeles and releasing a supernatural predator that terrorizes the city.

In addition to starring, Gellar will also serve as an EP on the show, with Teen Wolf creator Jeff Davis returning to pen the script and oversee production. Both Tylers, Posey and Hoechlin, were present at the panel for the announcement.

“Everyone knows that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a huge influence on Teen Wolf,” Davis said on the panel. Bringing Sarah Michelle Gellar back to a horror show would be fantastic, as I’ve often thought.

Gellar continued while saying, “Everything these guys have said about the family-like atmosphere at Jeff’s shows being genuine is spot on. Please, I invite you to come hang out with us.”
