The final night of women’s competition at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships will air on NBC at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday. The event will also be broadcast live on NBCSports.com/live and streamed on the NBC Sports app and Peacock.

Shilese Jones, at age 20, is the favorite to win the title of United States women’s all-around champion for the first time in over half a century.

Seventeen-year-old Konnor McClain, competing in her first senior nationals, is currently eighth, a deficit that can be made up in a single routine.

In their first major tournament since the Tokyo Olympics, Olympic medalists Jordan Chiles and Jade Carey place third and fifth, respectively.

A selection camp will take place in October, and the five-woman team for the upcoming world championships will be finalized at that time.

Jones placed tenth at the Olympic Trials and is trying out for her first world team. In preparation for the 2024 Olympics, McClain skipped the nationals and Olympic trials last year. She went to the world championships in October but didn’t place high enough to advance to the final round.

On the first night of competition on Friday, Chiles and Carey made history by becoming the first U.S. Olympic female gymnasts to return to elite competition after an NCAA season. They’re shooting for spots on both the 2024 Olympic and 2024 World teams.
