The WNBA playoffs for 2022 have been scheduled, and the first round of games can finally begin.

The Chicago Sky, led by Candace Parker, will try to win their second straight championship, while the Las Vegas Aces and Connecticut Sun will try to win their first championships in franchise history.

While Elena Delle Donne and the Washington Mystics look to repeat as champions, the Seattle Storm are hoping to win their fifth championship and send legendary point guard Sue Bird off with a championship parade before she retires.

Still, don’t ignore the outsiders. Even though the Dallas Wings, New York Liberty, and Phoenix Mercury all had to fight to earn a playoff berth, the regular season means nothing once the playoffs begin, as the Chicago Sky demonstrated in their No. 6 seeded run last year.

When do the playoffs start for the WNBA?

Two series will kick off their first games on Wednesday, kicking off the first round. Thursday marks the premieres of the other two series. The first round of series is a best-of-three.

Do you know which networks will be airing the playoffs?

The games can be seen on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and NBA TV.

Las Vegas Aces (#1) take on the Phoenix Mercury (#8).

The first game ended with the Las Vegas Aces 79 and the Phoenix Mercury 63.

Second game is on Saturday at 9 p.m. in Las Vegas (ESPN2)

No. 2 Chicago Sky vs. No. 7 New York Liberty, Game 3 (if necessary): Tuesday in Phoenix, Time and TV TBD

Wednesday in New York, time and channel to be determined. It’s the Connecticut Sun versus the sixth-ranked Dallas Wings.

The second contest will take place at noon on Sunday in Connecticut (ABC)

Wednesday (if needed) for Game 3 in Dallas; Game time and channel to be determined. The Seattle Storm take on the fifth-ranked Washington Mystics.

Sunday at 4 pm PT is game two, which will be played in Seattle (ESPN)
